Timber Staining
Through direct staining to the sanded raw timber, or in some instances mixing a stain into the finishing compound (tinting); we can transform your floors into a completely new style of colour.
The range of staining colours can be endless, and our professional team can custom mix any colour to your choosing.
In general however, most clients tend to favour either Jacobean, Provincial, Special Walnut, Nutmeg or Antique Brown.
Staining can also be applied as subtle or as intense as you need it to be.

At Wakim & Co we can further provide an entirely new feel and appearance to your floors via a custom Two Tone colouration system.
After applying an initial reactive stain to your floors, we can then fill the natural grain of the timber with a coloured, high durability natural penetrating oil.
This process further brings out the wood's warmth and natural appearance, enhancing its unique texture and beauty.
This process is not just for contrasting grain colours, but may also be used to further enhance staining appearance, and increasing coating durability.

Liming your floors is a stunning alternative to traditional staining and finishing, offering a striking modern look.
A White/Lime Wash will retain your timbers character, knots and appearance. We can apply as little or as many coats of the finishing compound to achieve the desired transperrancy/intensity as you desire.
Generally we will finish with non-yellowing water based top coat to enhance the finish durability.
